The Vampiress of Barcelona by Escape Hunt Barcelona

Even though the first Foodinis began playing escape rooms with Parapark, the rest started with The Vampiress of Barcelona by Escape Hunt Barcelona, so we are quite fond of it.

The story is exciting because it is based on true events. It is said that in the early 20th century Enriqueta Martí, the Vampiress of Barcelona, kidnapped young children. Could it be true? We have an hour to get into his house looking for clues.

The atmosphere is quite good but without complications. In the end you get into a house. The enigmas are diverse and easy, not sophisticated or groundbreaking. The game masters did their job without fuss. The game flowed and it hooked us to continue.

It is a chain of franchises that can be found all over the world which supports them. It’s not bad to start with, but once you play a few rooms you realize it is too simple.

One strength of the Escape Hunt escape rooms is that they have a couple of rooms per story so it is ideal for big groups who want to play on competition mode or for company events.

Moreover, they have everything ready in various languages so that gives them advantage in front of groups of escapist tourists. But considering what it offers one may think it is expensive.

  • Multiple rooms.
  • Multiple languages.

  • It got a bit old fashioned.

Granja Petitbo

Passeig Sant Joan 82, Barcelona

Los zumos están especialmente ricos. Ancient dairy farm converted into a bistro with very instagramable dishes. Ideal for a brunch or snack. The food is very good and they work with natural and organic ingredients. If your favorite words are avocado and quinoa, this is your place. The juices are especially good.

Café Adonis

Carrer de Bailèn 188, Barcelona

Classic and charming place. It’s great to go for a drink and share some tapas. The best places are in the front next to the large windows.

Ramen-Ya Hiro

Carrer Girona 164, Barcelona

Hiro already had queues in front of the door before ramen became fashionable in Barcelona. In addition to being one of the best establishments of its kind, he prepares his own noodles and has programs to support the education of disadvantaged children. How could we not love him?
