Pharaoh’s Curse is a classic adventure escape room about explorers as if you were a character of the movie The Mummy. You will be an archaeologist with a mission that will take you to Cairo to make a revealing discovery about ancient Egypt.
You can feel that this room belongs to the first generation of escape rooms in Barcelona in some parts of the game. The enigmas and challenges are classic, but they are also varied and entertaining.
The atmosphere has been well taken care of in many angles but on the other hand you can see that it’s a room with a few years in its back. However, it still offers a good decoration. The game master is up to the task and only gives you clues when you ask.
It is an escape of medium difficulty, has a fairly linear development and it flows pretty well. It’s an option to consider if you’re planning on doing your first escape room although you should note that this is one of the oldest rooms in Barcelona. Therefore it doesn’t show the same level of innovation that the most recent ones have. This room belongs to the group Escape Barcelona.
As a final conclusion, we would classify it as a traditional sandwich place. A good escape room that you’ll be satisfied with. A classic that won’t let you down, but it’s not the most innovative thing in the escape room industry either.
- Some enigmas became obsolete.
If you manage to escape from the Pharaoh’s Curse you can complete your plan as follows:
Carrer d’Alcúdia 42, Barcelona
One of the traditional cake shops in the neighborhood. They bake their own pastries, out of which we recommend the ones with whipped cream, custard, candied spaghetti squash, etc. An authentic delicacy for the delight of those with a sweet tooth.
Carrer Lorena 18, Barcelona
The name says it all, here you will find montaditos, tapas… and more montaditos. Classic tapas bar where their expertise and good work is reflected in the dishes. Bravas, croquettes, bombas, small turnovers, fritters, ham… Our mouths are already watering!
