The story is based on the mythical films of Nightmare on Elm Street with Freddy Krueger. Children have begun to disappear in Barcelona in a mysterious way. The last disappearance involved your favorite cousin, so you decide to go to her house in the Diputació Street to investigate what happened.
Once inside, the atmosphere of the room takes you straight to the 80’s. It’s a journey through time, full of nostalgia and some surprises. The puzzles are well integrated into the room, but perhaps they are the weakest part of the escape. Either way, the fluidity of the game does not suffer at all.
The game master takes an important role in this game and is one of the highlights of the escape. The experience would not be the same without him!
It is an escape with a theme of fear, but we could consider it as a soft fear. Ideal for those who want to try and decide if they want to go for stronger horror escapes. As it used to happen with the horror films of the 80s, it has very funny moments.
You could say that this escape room is like a midnight snack … we only recommend that you do not go to sleep with a full belly or you will have strange dreams… even, perhaps, a nightmare;)
- The game master.
- The enigmas.
If you manage to wake up from nightmare and escape from Freddy you can complete your plan as follows:
Carrer de Casanova 69, Barcelona
Local with a wide variety of craft beers, they also have tapas to share and some very good burgers. We really liked the Catalan burger with escalivada and goat cheese and Choco Libre beer, with a touch of chocolate. If you go, keep in mind that the spicy wings are tasty, but VERY spicy.
Carrer Comte d’Urgell 112, Barcelona
Japanese restaurant with a long tradition in Sitges that has finally settled in Barcelona. It specializes in Japanese homemade food, forget about sushi and give donburi or okonomiyakis a chance. Save some space for desserts like the kakigori or the taiyaki, which are very difficult to find in other Japanese in the city.
